Bioestimulante líquido carbonado: efecto sobre propiedades físicas, químicas, hidrológicas y rendimiento vegetal en un suelo franco-limoso

Resumen

En los últimos años, las sustancias húmicas derivadas de la Leonardita se han convertido en una alternativa prometedora para mejorar la estructura del suelo, aumentar la actividad biológica y optimizar la retención de agua. No obstante, la información sobre su eficacia en suelos limosos degradados es limitada. El objetivo general de este trabajo fue evaluar el comportamiento físico, químico, hidrológico del suelo y de rendimiento vegetal por la incorporación de Leonardita. Para ello, se realizó un ensayo en macetas durante tres meses con un diseño completamente aleatorizado con 24 unidades experimentales que surgen de los cuatro tratamientos: D0: Control (sin producto); D1: 25 L ha-1; D2: 100 L ha-1 y D3: 300 L ha-1, con y sin vegetación. Los resultados indican que las mayores dosis provocaron una leve disminución del pH y un incremento de la conductividad eléctrica del suelo, mientras que el contenido de carbono oxidable mostró un incremento significativo con el aumento de dosis, alcanzando hasta un 23 % más que el control (P < 0,05). Se observó una mejora en la disponibilidad de fósforo (9,5 %), aunque el contenido de nitrógeno total (Nt) y la capacidad de intercambio catiónico no evidenciaron cambios significativos. La densidad aparente del suelo se redujo 3,9 % (P < 0,1), mientras que en promedio la estabilidad de agregados aumentó en 17,3 % con la incorporación del producto (P < 0,001). Además, se observó un aumento de la capacidad de agua disponible, lo que contribuyó a una mejora sustancial del rendimiento vegetal con respecto a la mayor dosis (21,3 % entre D0 y D3). Estos resultados destacan el potencial del producto para mejorar la fertilidad del suelo y contribuirán a comprender los mecanismos de agregación de suelos limosos.
